Biography
He was born c1535 at Cardington, Bedfordshire[1] The Visitation of Bedfordshire shows George as the eldest son of three children of Sir John Gascoigne and Margaret Scargill, his siblings being John and sister Elizabeth. His wife is not shown but he had a son William.[2]
