Biography
- Henry Ireland Gascoyne (1799-1866) was the son of Isaac Gascoyne and Mary Williamson Gascoyme.
- He was baptised on the 31st of December1799 at Westminster, London, England.
- He was a Captain in the 34th Regiment of Foot.
- He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Galway [Ireland] between 1768 and 1797.
- He married Elizabeth, the third daughter of The Most Revd and Hon Power le Poer-Trench DD on the 6th of January 1830.
They had at least two daughters, the second of whom, married.
