Anthony David Gasnier was born on 6th August 1926 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He was the son of William Gasnier and Grace Mackay. [1]

On 22nd August 1944 he enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force. He was posted to the Eastern Area Headquarters Bradfield Park, attaining the rank of Leading Aircraftman. He was discharged on 24th August 1947. [2]
Anthony married Patricia Woods in 1956 in Sydney. [3]
He passed away, aged 88 years, on 25th November 2014 in New South Wales and his ashes are placed in Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland. [4] He was survived by Patricia.
