Beulah Gass was born to Walter L Gass and Edna Marie Dugas on March 19, 1913 in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana.[1][2]
She married John Bumgardner in approximately 1972. They resided at 5137 East Brookstown Dr, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Beulah took care of my father until his death in 1979.
They had a foster grandchild, Tara, that Beulah adopted after my father's death.
Beulah and John loved gardening. She would can the bounty of the garden. She loved to pickle watermelon rind. It was delicious.
She and John would make clothes for Tara. She would assemble the dresses and John would do the detail work, like embroidery and smocking.
Beulah died on March 25, 1999 at 86 years old. She is buried in Green Oaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. [3]
