Hester Gassaway who was baptized (not born) 26 Dec. 1642 was buried at the same church on 25 Aug. 1643. She is NOT this person. As far as I know, there is no evidence that this person is a Gassaway. This appears to be confusion with Nicholas Gassaway (brother to the Hester born in 1642) in his will named a granddaughter Elizabeth Groce and her mother Hester [Nicholas's daughter]. Hester (Gassaway) first married John Beard; second Mr. Gross/Groce; and third to Stephen Warman. See source citations and links to records at:
