Hello! Elizabeth Gassaway b. 1590, seems to be non-existent--a conflation. There is a Margaret Elizabeth Gassaway about a century later (b. AA Maryland abt 1680), dau of Nicholas Gassaway (1634-1692); she married Thomas Larkin (1673-1731). This Thomas has been confused with an earlier one, father of Elizabeth Larkin(b. 1614). Nicholas Gassaway is presmed to be the first Gassaway in the USA. He arrived about 1650. See Ancestry.com. British Roots of Maryland Families [database on-line].
