Mary is listed along with her husband John H. Lorman, in the marriage record of their son William H. Lorman to Ellen Breslin Gerrity, June 29, 1899.[6]
Her son, George Lormann's death record mentions his parents.[7]
There is some information about her life with John in his obituary, reprinted on his page.
She died of cancer on May 27, 1886. This was five years after moving to Lowell, Massachusetts.

Place of Birth - On the Death record listed above, her POB is given as Nova Scotia. A family tree by hjlawson on Ancestry.com has her birth as 1830 in Musquoidobit, Nova Scotia. In the 1900 census her daughter said she was born in Maine. A OneWorldTree source says she was born in Belfast, Ireland. It also says she was married in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.
C. Kellett says "Some say she was born in 1831 and others in 1822 in Popes Harbor NS."
