Biography

George Ducker married Eliza Gates at some time between October and December in 1857 in Wangford, Suffolk, England. ^[1]

At the time of the 1871 England and Wales Census, head of household George Ducker (age 45, born in Ilketshall, Suffolk) and his wife Eliza (age 38, born in Ilketshall, Suffolk) were living in St. Lawrence, Ilketshall, Suffolk, England with their daughter, Frances Maria Ducker (age 11, born in Ilketshall St. Lawrence, Suffolk). ^[2]

At the time of the 1891 England and Wales Census, George Ducker (age 65, born in Suffolk) was head of household and living on Butts Road, Blything, Dunwich, Spexhall, Suffolk with his wife, Eliza Ducker (age 58, born in Suffolk) and their granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Brown (age 10, born in Suffolk). George Ducker listed his occupation as "Agricultural Laborer" and Mary Elizabeth's occupation is listed as "Scholar." ^[3]

At the time of the 1901 England and Wales Census on 31 Mar 1901, head of household George Ducker (age 76, born in St. Lawrence, Suffolk) was living in Blything, Halesworth, Spexhall St. Peter, Spexhall, Suffolk, England with his wife, Eliza Ducker (age 67, born in St. Andrews, Suffolk) and working in the occupation of Agricultural Labourer, Ordinary. ^[4]
