Biography
Paul was the son of Lt. Daniel and Anna (Eveleth) Gates.
He married first Sarah Hapgood. They had one child, Sarah Gates, born 27 Jan 1745.[1] Wife Sarah died in Bolton 6 Feb 1745.[2]
He married second Submit Howe on 18 Nov 1746. They were parents of nine children: Mercy, Daniel, Nathaniel, Susanna, Margaret, Abigail, Rachel, Submit and Relief Gates[3]
