Mr. and Mrs. John Kehoe of 506 Scott avenue, announce the engagement of their daughter Katheryn to Mr. John Gates, son of Mr. John Gates of Cleveland, O. and the late Mrs. Gates.

Miss Kehoe was graduated from St. Joseph High School, and received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees at Marshall College, Huntington. She is affiliated with Alumnae Chapter of Alpha sigma Tau Sorority and Kappa Delta Phi. Young Ladies Sodality of St. Joseph church and Ironton Woman's Club. Until recently Miss Kehoe was a member of Ironton High School faculty.

Mr. Gates is a graduate of Collinswood High Schoo., Cleveland, O. During World War II he served with the U.S. Signal Corps. He is associated with Ohio Bell Telephone Company, Cleveland, O.

The wedding will be an event of July 14.^[1]
