Research Notes

The FindAGrave memorial for Sarah is in a cemetery in Polk County, MO. Polk County is in the south-west side of Missouri. The other places where they lived (other than Kentucky) were in the northern part of Missouri. Not sure that this burial location is correct.

Biography

Sarah was born in Kentucky.

She married Nathan Cox on Dec. 28, 1836 in Knox County, KY. [1]

By 1860, the family had moved to Sullivan County, MO.

In 1870, they were in Mercer County, MO.

In 1880, Sarah and Nathan were in Wayne County, Iowa.

She died on Jan. 5, 1883 is buried in Shady Grove Cemetery, Aldrich, Polk County, MO. [2]
