Biography

Grace was friends with Shelby's sister, Mildred, and that's how she met Shelby.

Hobbies include: wonderful cook - awesome desserts; crochet, counted cross stitch, collects bird figurines, type of person that family is everything to her.

Age 89 died November 28, 2012 at McLaren Flint. Funeral service will be held 1 pm, Monday, December 4 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St, Flint. Family will receive visitors Saturday from 4-8 pm and from Sunday 2-8 pm at the funeral home. Rev Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Grace was born April 24, 1923 in Providence KY the daughter of William F and Sylvia (Dorris) Gatlin. During WWII she was a part of the war effort at AC Spark Plug and she was a lifetime member of the VFW #4087. Grace was very involved at the Kearsley Daly Senior Center. Her real and only priority in life were her children and grandchildren. Grace is survived by her son John (Roxanne) Ferguson and daughter Linda (Jim) Holden, 10 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son Jim Ferguson, daughter Carol Back, sisters Anne Mooney, Carolyn Patterson, grandson Markell Back and granddaughter Karra G. Butts. ^[1]
