Pietro was born December 19, 1903[1] to Antonino Gattuso AKA Michele Gattuso and Sebastiana Pagano AKA Anna Pagano.[2] Pietro Gattuso ... He passed away about 1979.[1]
In 1926, he married his wife, Eleanor Mangini, also known as Elena Mangini in New York City.[3] Together they had the following children:
Four years after he married his wife, they made their census debut as a couple alongside their son Peter.[4] Come 1940 the Queens family has grown to include three more children.[5]
He ended up changing his surname to "Gattus" while in New York due to mounting racism against Italians at the time. His family was from Sicily.[6]
