PIERRE GAUDET is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinsville, Louisiana Plaque 3 Left. Listed with him are his spouse Madeleine Doucet and their daughter Marguerite Gaudet. [1]

Birth/Christening
Marguerite Gaudet, daughter of Acadians Pierre Gaudet and Madeleine Doucet was born right at the time some Acadians who had been imprisoned at Halifax were leaving for Louisiana. She was either born in Halifax or on the way to New Orleans. She was baptized in New Orleans 1 Dec 1765[2]

Marriage
Marguerite (27) married Antoine Ledoux (~28) on 25 Nov 1791 in St James, Louisiana. [4]
