Jean Godet was born about 1722. He was the son of Guillaume Gaudet and Marie Boudreau. He married Marguerite Godet, daughter of the late Pierre Gaudet and Marguerite Heber. There was a dispensation for 4-4 consanguinity.[1][2][3]
