Joseph (Godet- as spelled in baptism archive register = (LNAB))-Gaudet was born 1 Sep 1733, the first child of Jean Baptiste Gaudet and Marie Doucet. He was baptized 1 Nov 1733 at Beaubassin. His godparents were Jean Mouton and Marguerite Poirie.[1][2]
Joseph married Marie Josephe Comeau on the 22nd of January 1759. Witnesses to their marriage included Marie Godet, Pierre Doucet, Joseph Comeau, Anne Comeau and J.F. Recher.[3]They had 9 children.[4]
