I am fairly new at genealogy, but I love finding stories about my ancestors. Every family has family secrets, surprises, and interesting personalities to discover. Discovering a photo of an ancestor is always a bonus. You look for any resemblances on each side of the family. I would love to know so much more about the life of my pioneers. I never liked history as a kid, but I like it now! LOL
