Biography

Hyppolite was born on 25 Feb 1829 and baptized in Barachois on 20 Jul 1829. ^[1] He is the son of Dominique Gaudet and Rosalie Leger.

Hyppolite married Cécile Poirier on 17 Oct 1864 in Grande-Digue.^[2][3]

In the 1891 census Hippolite (age 61 years), public school teacher, lived in St Paul, Kent, New Brunswick.^[4]

In the 1901 census Hypolite (age 72 years) lived in St. Paul, Kent, New Brunswick.^[5] His date of birth was given as 25 Feb 1829.

He died on 10 Apr 1907 in Saint-Paul, aged 78.^[6]
