Biography

Marie Felicité Godet was born on April 11, 1739, to Varouel Gaudet and Marie-Madeleine Brun. Father De St. Poncy de La Vernède officiated her baptism the next day at St. Jean-Baptiste, Port Royal, Acadia, New France. Her godparents were Claude Godet and Marie Beliveau. [1]
