Biography

Joseph Gaudreau was born around 1800 in Rivière-au-Renard, Quebec, Canada. On August 1, 1826, Joseph married Maria Desanges Roy Desrosiers. One of their children, Nicholas Goudreau (for Nicholas and many of his siblings, the spelling of the surname changed from Gaudreau to Goudreau) was born in 1840 around Riviere-au-Renard, Gaspe county, Quebec, Canada.
