Marguerite Gaudreau, daughter of Gilles Gaudreau (1644–1726) and Anne Pineault (1651–<1716), was born about 1677.

Marguerite (21) married Jacques Marchand (45) (born about 1653 in Saint-Martin-de-Ré, Aunis, France; son of Louis Marchand and Françoise Morineau) on August 1, 1699 in Cap Saint-Ignace, Canada, Nouvelle-France. [1]
