Florence's birth date is listed as 27 Dec 1881 in her birth records, [1] but her death certificate [2] and gravestone [3] have her birth year as 1882.

Also, her maiden name is seen as Gough in census and marriage records, [4] as well as all the records of her children. However, the gravestone of her mother (and brothers) has Gaugh. For this reason, the spelling of "Gaugh" is used in this profile.

Biography

Florence May Gaugh was born 27 Dec 1882 in Iowa, USA to William Gaugh and Virginia A. Hart. [1] She married Albert Ernest Barker (son of Usual Barker and Mary Barlow) on 21 Jan 1904 in Marion, Linn Co., Iowa. [4]
