NEW LISBON, Ind., Sept. 25 - William Gauker, age 95 years, a well known resident of Dudley township, died at the home of his son, Mike Gauker, near here, Wednesday, after a few days illness. Mr. Gauker fell Sunday afternoon and suffered a broken hip, which hastened his death. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Martha Butler, Mrs. Belle Shawley and Lucinda Summers, and four sons, Mike, Enos, William and Mason. He came to New Lisbon from Ohio about forty-two years ago and has lived near here since. He was a farmer, but in recent years lived with his son, Mike Gauker. The funeral was held at the home near here Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock and interment took place at the Lewisville cemetery.
