Biography

Margaret I. (Koehler) Williams EAU CLAIRE - Margaret I. (Koehler) Williams, 88, of Eau Claire, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at her home.

Margaret was born on March 30, 1920, to Gustav Gaul and Amelia Binger in Stevensville. She was married to John (Pete) Koehler until his passing. Her greatest joy was raising her three daughters, Lila, Barbara and Betty. She was a devout member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sodus for many years. She enjoyed knitting and sewing and later taught at the Central County Senior Center in Berrien Springs. Margaret enjoyed tending her garden and loved flowers.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John (Pete) Koehler; two brothers, Albert and Herbert; one sister, Louise; a son-in-law, Ronald Brady; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and her parents.^[1]
