Blair was born in 1889. He was the son of John Gaul. He passed away in 1983.

Blair T. Gaul, 93, of Pinellas Park, Florida (a former Covode resident) died Wednesday, August 10, 1983 at Humana Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. Mr. Gaul was born in Pittsburgh on December 28, 1889 the son of John and Annie Eyler Gaul. He was married to Nancy Sherry. Mr. Gaul was a retired drill press operator with U.S. Steel in Clairton. Surviving relatives include two sons: Robert Gaul of Pinellas Park, Fla. and George Gaul of Port View, PA; one daughter: Marion Gaul of Seminole, Fla.; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Covode.
