Elizabeth "Eliza" is mentioned as a possible daughter of John Mathew listed by other researchers. The Eliza by other researchers is supposed to be the wife of Dr. Mattauer.[1] He then lists the Estate inventory of John, which lists Elizabeth, Nancy, receiving one of the 100acres parcels of land which was left to his children. Charles Gaulden also notes in the list that John, the son, Sells his 100 acres to his brother-in-law Francis Spaulding, the husband of this Elizabeth.
Elizabeth's husband, John Spaulding, is deeded land from his father-in-law in 1758 and 1764.
Bill Gaulding places this Elizabeth as both of these and calls her "Nancy" Eliza" who married 1st Spaulding and 2nd Mattauer.[2]
