Samuel Gaulden was the son of John Gaulding and Anne Stuart. He lived in St. Peter's Parish, Upper Precinct, New Kent County Virginia.[1] There are also references to him living or at least owning land in Bedford County Virginia[2] and [3].

Samuel Goulden's [sic] will, dated 06 Oct 1785 in Campbell County, Virginia, mentions children Archibald, William, Kesiah, Ann E., Lucy and Patty. [4]
