Gilbert was born in 1918. He was the son of George Gault and Mabel Sellers. He passed away in 2012.[1]
Gilbert G. Gault, 94, of Marysville died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was born Dec. 7, 1918 in Marysville to Dr. George G. and Mabel (Sellers) Gault.
He was a retired gunsmith and the owner of the former Gault's Gun Shop, Marysville; a graduate of Marysville High School and Penn State University; an Army captain in World War II and awarded the Bronze Star; a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Marysville, Marysville Sportsmen's Club, Carlisle Fish and Game Association, Marysville VFW, Post 882 and the ATA.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie D. (Bitting) Gault; two sons, Gary G. of Duncannon and Gregg G. of Reading; two grandchildren, Kera Daily and Travis Gault; and great-grandchildren, Gwen Daily and Kylie Gault.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert G.
Services were held Dec. 21 in Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, with the Rev. Carola Beasley-Topliffe officiating. Burial was in Perry Heights Cemetery, Marysville.
