He passed away in 1943. He is buried at Rashee cemetery with his mother and his wife.[3]
Familysearch has another daughter, Rebecca, born 1911 post census.
Parentage clearly established now. Elizabeth Thompson (m.1850) married a different John Gault, in Gillistown. They appear separately in 1901 census. Familysearch yet to be updated (I put a note on).
There are a collection of Gaults buried at Rashee Cemeterey according to antrimandnewtownabbey.gov.uk. Most of this family seem to be buried in Ballyclare Cemetery, but James and Mary are at Rashee with James's mother Agnes. The two cemeteries are not really all that far apart.
