Biography

Ellen was born in 1829. She was the daughter of Frederick Gauntlett and Elizabeth Matterley. she was christened in Badgeworth, Somerset on 14 June that year.^[1]

On 12 June 1850 she married Henry Edwin Harrison in Pershore.^[2][3]

In 1851 the census finds her in Park Square Leeds with her husband, a timber merchant. Her mother and sister, Charlotte, are visiting.^[4]

In 1861, they have 3 daughters and are living in Headingley Hill, Leeds.^[5]

She died in 1909.^[6][7]
