Ohio vs George W, Lyman crime, Aiding and abbetting in committing Burglary and Larceny and receiving stolen property. The above burglary case grew out of the one transaction, prepetrated at the house of Mrs. Hannah Gaut of Pierpont Township at which place the said Curtis Is charged with having stolen money. a watch, gold chain, and other traps in sum and value of one hundred and six dollars and some cent.
Believe this was not this George W. Lyman as he was in the service at the time.
Hannah Gaut lives alone in the 1860 census and is a farmer.
Hannah Gaut has a 16 year old Nancy Lyman living next door in the household of Ephraim Murry as a domestic, who appears not to be related to George W.
Hannah Gaut has a 24 year old Ansel Curtis living next door in the household of Ephraim Murry as a farm worker. Ansel is the brother of David who is living with a George Lyman.
Alva and Ansel may well be the same individual.
Nancy may well be a sister of the George of this article.
Furthermore George is living in his father’s household in 1860 and his father is a preacher. There in another George Lyman living with David and Anna Curtis here.
