On 9 Jul 1725, in St-Laurent-de-l'Île d'Orléans, Jean Gotbou son of the late Nicolas Gotbou and Marie Angélique Lemelin married Louise Gautier daughter of the late Jean Gautier and Marie Anne Tibaut. Witnesses included the groom's uncle Louis L'Emelin (signature), neither the bride nor the groom could sign but several witnesses signed the register. [2][3]
Louise died in 1757; she was interred in the parish of Notre-Dame-de-Québec.[4][5]
