Elisabeth Marie (Gauthier) Laviolette is a descendant of an Acadian

Elisabeth Marie Gauthier was born on 10 August 1774 and baptized on 15 April 1775 in Carleton, Bonaventure County, Province de Québec, daughter of Joseph Gauthier and Théotiste Landry. [1]

Elisabeth (22) married François Laviolette (28), son of Jean Baptiste (Laviolette) Jahan and Therese (Arsenault) Arseneau, on 20 October 1796 in Bonaventure, Bas-Canada. [2]

Their known daughter was Angelique Laviolette (1801–1881)

Elisabeth died on 8 October 1848 in Carleton, Canada-Est, aged 74. [3]
