In the 1871 Census, he was married and they had four children.[3]
In the 1881 Census. he was possibly a widow and living with five children. He seems to have possibly loss his wife and his daughter Isodre and they are both unlisted.[4]
He remarried 27 Sep 1904 in North Bay, Ontario.[5]
When he passed away 13 Oct 1915, except for his second marriage in North Bay, he seems to have spent all his live in Rigaud, Québec. [6] He was probably buried 21 Oct 1915.
