Paul LeBreton
When Emile Alfred Gauthier was born on February 8, 1907, in Val-des-Bois, Quebec, his father, Hormidas, was 22 and his mother, Malvina, was 22. He married Regina Marie Agnes St-Amour in 1929 in Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette, Quebec. They had 6 children during their marriage. Emile husband of Regina St.Amour who is 5 months pregnant died at 31 of Tuberculosis on Sunday, March 6, 1938, at the Hull Sanitorium (Castle Hill, Cottingham) leaving behind his daughter Émilia 9, Léo 5, Laurencia 3 year old. The funeral service was in Notre-dame-de-la-Salette following his burial at the parish cemetery.
