Biography

Alexis Gautrau was born 29 Aug 1729. He was the Métis son of Claude Gaudreau and Marguerite Landry. He was baptized the following day at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. His godparents were Claude Leblanc and Marie Hebert.[1]
