Amand Gauterot is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana Plaque 3-Left. He is listed with his spouse Marie Landry and two children: Anne and Marguerite. ^[1]

Amant Paul Gautrot was born 24 Jan 1732. He was the son of Charles Gautrot and Marie-Josèphe LeBlanc. He was baptized the following day at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. His godparents were Charles Gautreau and Francoise Leblanc.^[2][3]

Amant Paul married Marie Blanche Landry (~1738 - ~1783) in 1758 in Maryland.^{[citation needed]} Their children were:
