Govang-1 and Gauvin-322 appear to represent the same person because: Govang was the anglophone version of Gauvin. Suzanne's history is well-known in New Brunswick. She was born in Quebec; after her father passed away, her mother remarried an Acadien. Suzanne's brothers married into the Acadian community around Memrancook using the proper spelling Gauvin. Charles Smith was her second husband. Once the merge is complete, the two profiles representing him will need to be merged as well. Suzanne is an ancestor of the wife of William Henry Steeves, Father of Confederation. I am looking at their family in honour of Canada's 150th birthday.

Suzanne is 18 degrees from Cari Starosta, 19 degrees from Marie-Antoinette d'Autriche and 14 degrees from Henry VIII of England on our single family tree. Login to find your connection.
