William Samuel Gavenlock was born on 30 Jun 1880^[1] in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia as the tenth child of Christopher John Gavenlock and Jane Hitchcock. He had thirteen siblings, namely: Eliza Jane, Margaret, Mary, Christopher James, Joshua, Francis, Elizabeth, Joseph, Ellen, Sarah Ann, Lucy Jane, Matthew George, and John. He died on 25 Dec 1945^[2] in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia. When he was 31, he married Ethel May Rose, daughter of George Rose and Amelia Ann Bailey, on 08 Nov 1911^[3] in Gosford, New South Wales, Australia.
