As has been commented several times, Amy or Amie Gaveston was illegitimate and her mother is unknown. Margaret de Clare is not her mother.

Amie Gaveston was an illegitimate daughter of Piers Gaveston and not, as suggested here, the daughter of Margaret Clare / d'Audley.

Amy was the illegitimate daughter of Piers de Gaveston. Her mother has never been known.
