Anna Gavitt, born 29 Dec 1761, was a daughter of William Gavitt (1737-), whose family lineage extended for several generations through Hopkinton and Westerly, Rhode Island. Her mother is not yet evident.
Anna (Gavitt) Babcock was the widow of John P. Babcock who was killed 1781 at the Fort Griswold Massacre. [1] They had one child who survived to adulthood:
In 1801 this family moved to Westfield, Massachusetts. Anna (Gavitt)(Babcock) Fish died in 1814 at Westfield, Massachusetts.
