Dies Talking to Her Son:
Mrs.Honorata Olshefski, Kulpmont, Collapses Into Chair On Back Porch - While talking to her son on the rear porch of her home, 763 Scott Street, Kulpmont, Mrs. Honorata Olshefski collapsed into a chair and died at 7:30 o'clock this morning. She had just returned from a neighborhood store. Mrs. Olshefski was 69 years old and during the past three years she had been in poor health, had been subject to hemorrhages of the head. However, the family believes her death was caused by a heart attack. She was born in Galicia,Poland and from there came to Shenandoah. The Olshefski family moved to Kulpmont in 1911. In that town, Mrs. Olshefski was a well known resident, a devoted member of the St. Casmir’s Roman Catholic Church and of the Holy Rosary. Matthew Olshefski, her husband, died on February 11th this year. Survivors are the following children, Anthony, Peter, Stanley, Frank,Mrs. Mary Gill, Mrs. Bertha Flunt , all of Kulpmont, and Mrs. Paul Zinzel, of Binghamton New York; 35 grandchildren: and one sister in Poland.[3]
