On 1 June 1880 in Fork Union, Fluvanna, Virginia, with his parents Neil B. Gay and Mary B. Gay, his siblings William B. Gay aged 22, Neil B. Gay aged 21, Thomas B. Gay aged 13, Annie B. Gay aged 11 and Martha Gay aged 9, his aunts Pocahontas V. Gay aged 48 and Caroline Ann S. Gay aged 47 and two other people James Pryor and Milly Roberts. [2]
