Biography
Lou L. Gay was born on 13 May 1871 in Jackson County, Kentucky, daughter of Benjamin Franklin Gay (1843 - 1924) and Minerva T. (Davis) Gay (1843 - 1888).
Lou (~28) married Matthew Adam Moody (~28) (born in Madison County, Kentucky on 3 Oct 1870; died in Madison County in 1960) in 1899 in Big Hill, Kentucky.
Lou's other children were:
- Denham Moody (1903 - 1904)
- Raymond Earle Moody (1906 - 1924)
- Marie Gay (Moody) Foster (1910 - 1991).
Lou died on 8 Aug 1959 in Madison County aged 88. She is buried in Berea Cemetery, Berea, Kentucky. Lou Moody was my father, John Chrisman's, 2nd cousin.
