Biography

Eleanor Guy was born 17 August 1740 in Virginia. [1]

She was captured by Indians, Augusta County, Virginia in spring 1765 and recaptured in 1778. [2]

She married William Kinkead in 1756. [1]

Eleanor passed away on 9 October 1825 in Cave Springs, Woodford, Kentucky, United States. [1]

Research Notes

Some researchers believe her surname was Gay, but that has not been proven.
