Biography

McCoy "Mack" Gay was a son of Elijah Gay and Catherine Anderson. His birth data are uncertain; according to his grave memorial he was born 7 Jun 1863 at Doorway, Perry County, Kentucky, USA [1].

In 1880 he was enumerated in Buffalo, Owsley County, Kentucky [2].

He married Mary T (McIntosh) Gay (abt.1865-abt.1929).

McCoy "Mack" Gay passed away about 19 Feb 1912 in Whoopflarea, Owsley County, Kentucky, USA. His grave is in John Gay Cemetery at that location.
