William Gay was born on February 20, 1778.
William died on October 15, 1840, aged 62. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Ransom, Hillsdale County, Michigan.[1]
William (23) married Sarah Bonesteel (16) (born on June 25, 1785; daughter of Philip Bonesteel and Elizabeth Ray) on December 23, 1801. Their known children were:
