John Bunnell Gay was born in 1844 in Pennsylvania, USA to Ansel Gay and Elizabeth Bunnell Gay. [1]
John Gay can be found at the age of 36 on the 1880 US census for Meshoppen ED 208, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, along with his wife, Elizabeth, his children, Ida, Fredric, Eva, James and Blennie Gay, and an adult married man named William Jackson, whose connection to the family isn't known but who has the notation "Farming" by his name.
