Jesse II was the son of Jesse Gayler/Gaylor and Julia York .

He married Mary T. "Jemima" Rucks

He is buried at Mount Gayler Cemetery, Mount Gaylor, Crawford, AR

NOTES

By 1850 Jesse is found in Dekalb, Alabama census as head of the household and living next door to his brother Allen. A year later, during the 1860 United States Census, Jesse is now living in Cherokee County, Alabama. During the 1880 census, Jesse can be found in Arkansas, and so can his tombstone where he is buried in the Mt. Gayler Cemetery, near Mt. Gayler, Arkansas on Rt. 71.

Jesse Gaylor was born about 1818, the State of Virginia. His father was Jesse Gaylor, Sr. I and his mother may have been Julia York . He passed away in 1882 in the state of Arkansas and was buried at Mount Gaylor Cemetery, Mount Gaylor. in Crawford Co., Arkansas.
