MISS BESSIE GAYLORD WEDS IN CALIFORNIA Friends of Miss Bessie Gaylord will be interested in the fact that her marriage to Mr . Wallace C . Elder of Hereford, Colo., took place February 2, in San Diego, Calif. The groom is a member of the 157th Infantry and has been stationed at Camp Kearney. Leaving soon for France was the message sent here and Miss Gaylprd departed at once for the coast, where the wedding took place immediately upon her arrival there . She had been teaching near Waverly, and secured a substitute to conduct the school until her return. She is one of Larimer county's estimable young women. One of many friends and held in high esteem by all who know her. She is a daughter of Mrs. Anna Gaylord and has been very successful as a teacher. It was while teaching at Hereford that she met Mr. Elder, a prosperous young farmer. He was among the first to respond to his country's call and it is expected that he will be sent over there in the very near future. Mrs. Elder will remain on the coast until he is sent to France, and will then return to this city to again resume her duties as teacher and her large circle of friends will hasten to extend good wishes.
